Last Call on the Wondernite Auction! 🌙

Special Issue 🍋

Happy Friday, Reader!

Just a heads up that there are only a few hours remaining in the Wondernite online auction, which closes tonight at 10:00 p.m. CT. Lots of action so far on some exclusive goodies that won't be sold on our website.

🚨 We have "proxy" bidding set up on this auction, giving you the option to set a maximum price that you'd be willing to pay for an item and allowing the computer system to bid for you by the bid increment until someone places a higher bid than your maximum. This is handy if you have to go to bed, step away from your computer or phone, or don't want to have to keep checking in on the auction.

Thanks for your support!

Stay young and stay fun,

P.S.

If you are a Wonder & Whimsy Society member, you can watch the livestream of my and Kim's talks at approximately 8:30 pm this evening.

2024 Issue #37 🌊 Happy Sunday, Reader! Greetings from Sheboygan, where we enjoyed a whirlwind Wonder Weekend, hosting our 5th Wondernite on Friday, and the 2nd Wonder & Whimsy Society Family Reunion in our backyard yesterday. After months of preparation, it is now time for a multi-day coma. 😴 After a speaking gig in Houston years ago, we drove down to Galveston to spend a little time near the Gulf. Our daughter Lucy, almost four years old at the time, waded in the water, immersed in a game...

Special Issue 🍋 Happy Thursday, Reader! Wondernite is tomorrow, and this year we're doing something new. Since it's one of the few times I put my original paintings up for sale, we wanted to make sure that people who are not able to make it to Sheboygan for whatever reason can get in on the action. So tomorrow you'll receive an email at 6:00 a.m. when the Wondernite online auction goes live. Bidding will end at 10:00 p.m. (All times Central). Nothing beats being there in person, and we'll...

2024 Issue #36 🍦 Happy Sunday, Reader! Greetings from Sheboygan, where our family is recovering from a road trip to Texas and is looking forward to Wonderite this week, which led me to think about the reasons I make and sell art... This painting was inspired by the lyric of a catchy tune from the 80s by a band named Modern English. Most listeners may not realize that this seemingly simple upbeat love song is actually about the end of the world. Lead singer Robbie Grey, who wrote the song with...
